To bring out the maximum flavor, our baker lightly roasts the pumpkin seeds and then rehydrates them in the water that later will be used to make the bread! By using the rehydration water from the seeds, the taste of this bread becomes even more unique.
You'll find that pumpkin seeds add a delightful crunchiness and a beautiful roasted flavor. Additionally, these seeds are very rich in fiber and nutrients.
From the mill to the bakery, this bread meets all the conditions!
Thanks to its slow fermentation on spelt sourdough, hand shaping, and baking in a refractory stone oven, this bread promises a unique taste experience.
To ensure the best possible quality, the grains used in this bread were purchased directly from farmers in Walloon Brabant and then milled next to our doors in Haren.
Whether you enjoy it toasted for breakfast, as an accompaniment to your lunchtime soups or salads, or simply with a little jam for your afternoon snack, you'll be left speechless!
Note: All our bread is delivered uncut. In this way it keeps its optimal flavor and freshness for a longer period of time up until 4-5 days.
